Kitabase Terms of Service

1. Overview

• These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use and conditions of Kitabase (the “App”), provided by Octave Ltd. (the “Company”).
• By using Kitabase, users agree to be bound by these Terms.
• Kitabase is designed to provide simple note-taking and category organization features and does not require user registration or server-based data storage.

2. Service Description

• Kitabase provides core features such as note creation and category management.
• Users can access additional features, including iCloud backup, through the paid subscription service Kitabase Plus.
• Subscription prices may vary by country.
• Billing is handled by RevenueCat Inc.; no payment info is accessed by the Company.

3. Use of Service and Restrictions

• Users must comply with iOS and App Store policies.
• The Company may restrict usage for reverse engineering, IP violation, illegal behavior, etc.
• Service interruptions may occur due to technical issues or force majeure.

4. Subscription and Payment

• Subscriptions are billed to the user’s Apple ID.
• Auto-renewal occurs monthly unless canceled in App Store settings.
• Refunds follow Apple & RevenueCat policies.

5. Data Handling and Security

• Kitabase does not operate any servers.
• All notes are stored only on the user’s device.
• Uninstalling the app deletes all data.

6. Limitation of Liability

• The Company is not responsible for issues related to Apple, RevenueCat, or iCloud.
• Not liable for device-specific or network-related issues.
